Does the sight of rain
slowly breathe remembrance of old memories?
Do raindrops gently dripping down
remind you of emotions that were felt?
Do the dark clouds look as familiar
as those you shared the memories with?
Roofs
Rivers
Reservoirs
Things that capture rain often catch our memories.
As we listen with our ears,
the weather report tells us to expect
but our minds remind us
never to forget
rain.
