I Am

I am an exceptional child who is misunderstood.
I hear the stars twinkling in the twilight, hoping my wish will come true.
I see beautiful flowers that wave to me so I am not lonely.
I am the lion who wants to pounce out of the cage to investigate the connection of friendship.
I pretend to be a pirate looking for treasure with friends.
I feel the misery of stormy clouds scattering across me as I try a million of times to find a true friend and ending up in failure.
I touch the palm of my friend and worry there will be bricks blocking it.
I cry as my friend flies away.
I understood now that friends won’t be there when you need them.
I say sometimes you have to be on your own.
I dream of a world full of happiness, where no one is misunderstood.
I try to be a rainbow with everyone, but the wind goes whoosh and blows it away.
My wish is to have friends.
