Another Day's Journey

Today is the day,
“Climb aboard!” they say.
“Say your goodbyes,”
As tears well up in your families’ eyes.

“We will now set sail,
So drink your last ale.
As there is none aboard
Because it is too hard to pour.”

Standing on the sides of the ship
“Hold on tight with a hard grip.
It’s going to be a bumpy ride.”
