I stood at the end of the street. The eyes of the empty warehouse windows looked down at me. Why did I feel so sad? Tortured souls stubbornly gaze upon me, before I turn away slowly.
The wind whispers past my ears, grasping at letters like N-S-D-F. Suddenly I feel desolated. This is not my place. The landscape is not modern, and I don’t know what and where I am.
History.
The wind sends out cruel, scuttling laughs.
A blue beret chases the wind, moving lazily onto its prey. I follow with my gaze, and see an eagle crest-Officers with infuriated faces. At once, I know where I am.
