My first day of school,
I didn’t know any rule.
I was nervous and scared,
Because I was little and not prepared.

In the classroom, I sat in the corner
Started colour in and minding my manner.
Suddenly, a girl across the table said,
“Do you want to play with me instead?”

Surprise but happy, I looked up
In my quite voice, I answered “Yup!”
I felt a bit better and less like a fool
Olivia, my first friend from school.
