A Convict's Story

I gazed at the sky,
Birds singing in the trees,
The ocean is sparkling blue,
Staring at my reflection,
The ship swaying left and right,
The Captain looks vicious,
Workers are loading supplies,
A tear drops down my face.
“I’ll miss my home, but I’ll be back.”
