Harbour Wave

The screams awaken and become louder as the tied draws ever further, the sound of terror echoes through my ears and brings a shiver down my spine, causing a draft of wind to make me shiver. I've never experienced a tsunami, but I study them. I turn around to find the town looking like a zombie apocalypse. empty. I hear a scream, from a familiar voice. It's
dad.
He tells me to get out of the way but it's too late. I start running.. The tsunami is 100ft tall. I run but as I do the tsunami shadows over me. It's over. I climb to the top of the parking lot tower, my heart skips a beat and I feel as if I won't make it. SPLASH. The wave hits the sandy surface, causing a creation of green and turquoise mixtures. I stand on the top of the concretely made surface watching the wave crash and destroy the town I once knew as home.
Others are holding tightly into stable objects. I want to help but my dads holding my back from running. Tears slide down my cheek because I know those who are in depth of danger.

The waves stop and the tied starts drawing in, 'MUM'! I watch her drifting to sea, I can't stand it. I make it out of dads hands, running the fastest I have ever before and not slowing down. The wave pulls me in, I spot mum and swim to her. She's gasping for air and breathing in water. 'MUM, it's ok'. I yell to her but she hugs me and than kisses me on the cheek and says 'I love you' as she does her body sinks down, to the sandy bottom of the deep water sea where I will never see her again. The dread hits me and now, I want to join her, down There because that would be a better life... And I do.
