Fake is fashion we flaunt flawlessly, all around it torments me.
Fake smile, fake care, fake for all to see, it’s clear to me.
It’s clear to see, that the world is broken, you can’t deny.
I sit at night and I fantasize, a world we don’t terrorize
A world we don’t scrutinize, close our eyes, or turn our backs
On those in need, in society. A world where we care less,
Less about followers, less about stress,
Less about that stupid red dress. But more for everybody else
For those who are sick, not for those with health,
For those who are poor, not for those with wealth,
For those in need, we must give our help.
It’s time to think about the people who didn’t need to die,
The ones who have lost, but are too scared to cry
We’re all together in this mess, like baby birds within a nest
This is real, the world we’ve made.
A slave to fear, but can we be saved?
