There's a ringing in my head,
Silenced only by the sounds that roll off your tongue.
When I sleep I think of all the words you said,
And of the others that you sung.
There's a quaking in my hand,
Stilled only by your warm touch.
You wrap yourself around me like a rubber band,
It's a wonder something so simple could calm me so much.
There's a hunch to my shoulders,
Eliminated only by the confidence you give.
The weight on me that was once like boulders,
Gone once you smile and remind me to live.
There's a mess inside my mind,
Unjumbled due to the patience only you know.
To the solution I am totally blind,
Pulled back simply by the care you show.
