People came from different countries. They saw koalas that lived in gum trees.
Hargraves was the first to find gold, over 2000 joined the search when they were told.
Hooray! We're going to be rich some of them said, unfortunately, some ended up dead.
They left their homes searching for riches, pushing their barrows through rough terrain and ditches.
From 2,000 seekers the numbers continued to grow, from 10,000 to 20,000 in toe.
Gold was found in many places like Creswick and Ballarat. By the people of Europe and Asia. How's that?
