Excellence Award in the 'Word Zone 2016' competition

it's 7pm and I am happy; I am so happy
as happy as the bees when they reunite with the flowers,
as happy as the moon when she sees her star friends again.
someone I know said "loneliness is the easiest thing to write about,
because the world is full of it."
yet when I laugh, it echoes in my ears and I cannot hear the world scream.
when I feel the sun's warmth on my skin and the smell of ocean in my lungs,
I cannot hear the world crying.
it doesn't matter how many coins are in your pocket,
or how many friends you have.
it doesn't matter how sad you might feel; your happiness is already here.
it always was. can't you feel it?
it's ready to burst and bloom like the flowers in summer
and explode like fireworks on the 26th.
can you see? you have every reason to smile.
it's 7pm.
