The house is empty
He is bored
With nobody to talk to
The mirror he flies toward
For the girl in the mirror
He could talk to all day
She copies his every move
He has so much to say
When mum comes home
He goes over to hear
All about her day
And to squawk in her ear
Misty the budgie
Such a mischievous fellow
Chitter chatters all day
And he always starts with hello
