Like the darkest night
Of armies declaring siege
On a soul that once was mine.
A windowless prison
Of no escape
An ever building burden
Like soul upon a grave.
Whispering at the edges
Falling deeper and deeper into grace
Devoid of light in the always hour
In pain, the wind stills.
Currents of thoughts
Silent screams
One last reach upwards
But it ends, finally
