I walked alone,
Because I was scared of being left.
I kept to myself,
Because I feared others wouldn't like me.
I tried my best to succeed,
But sometimes I failed.
People laughed,
I cried.
I used bright colours to shape my life,
And I wrote stories of what I would prefer life to be.
I read books about magical things,
Only because nothing magical is going to happen to me.
I never really lived life to the fullest,
It was only a road that I took to get somewhere new.
