Windows are lightened
Houses are dark
Some bright colours
Some fairly apart
You have a choice between left and right
Make sure you choose carefully or you’ll get a big fright.
The grass is yellow no longer green
The gate is wobbly it might make you scream.
The school kids run around
Until they hear the bell
There is not one soul to be found.
Noon comes quick
Until the sun goes down
All the doors lock
And the windows put down.
