Once upon a time, there was a Princess who lived in a very grand palace that looked just like a ballroom. The palace had 260 rooms. The Princess loved to exercise, and she often invites her friends over to play hide and seek, skipping ropes and read fairy tales together.
One day, the Princess grew tired of always doing the same things over and over again. She thought for 3 weeks and finally said, “I know! I will collect gold and jewels instead.” She asked the King to help her collect gold from all the land.
As time passed, the people had less money and food to eat because all the riches have been kept in the palace. When the Princess had collected all the gold from the land, she wanted to play with her friends again. She invited her friends, but they were too hungry and weak to come over. The Princess told this to the Queen and asked her why. “Well, maybe you could give them back some of your gold?" the Queen explained. The Princess said, “You’re right, I shall do that now.”
Then they started returning the gold to the people. The people grew happy and healthy again, while the Princess was overjoyed to have her friends back to play together with. The Princess said she’d learned an important lesson about friendship and sharing.
