The scorching heat,
From the blazing orb blinded me,
Shining down with the air of bittersweet
Laziness, that taunts and teases me.
Waiting for the dark, unknown curtain to fall,
Streaks of traditional pink, purple, blue,
Fill the sky as the sun withdraws...
Behind the soft, dark blanket of grey hue.
In replacement, a round crescent will gleam,
For an unexplored curve conceals,
Unexplained mysteries and magical secrets,
Only time will tell, only the moon will say.
The darkness rises.
The moon fades away,
The sun returns, taking succession of the skies
As the sun continues to glow, glow and glow.
