The raging wind, the raging sea
Beats its fists upon the beach
The maddened tide screams its pleas
The land forever out of reach.
The swirling water forms a pleat
In the fabric of the sea
The wind a needle and a thread
Slicing through the water’s edge
A thousand wailing storms it led.
The grappling clouds try to grab
The shadows of the land it had
The whipping wind holds it back
It bleeds upon the ground it lacks
For the dreams have drove it mad.
