She could no longer resist the call of faraway places,
So she shed her former self and all the grief and trouble of the past,
She started to grow, blossoming into a radiant being,
The pain left her, for six months it left her,
She lived a life that can only be imagined and achieved consciousness,
She could recognise the world in its pure form,
And connect with the human soul,
Galaxies were reflected in her hopeful eyes,
And the past, present and future enlightened her mind,
She had felt freedom she had never known,
Six months, it was all it took,
To fly home to ghosts that greeted her as old friends,
Memories clung to her like cobwebs,
And clouded the life she had just lived,
Everyone was so consumed in their own minuscule lives,
They failed to see how beautiful she had become.
