For thirty years Christina lived with the sin
Her guilt was a monster caged within.
Like a ghost she lived haunted by pain
Huddled in misery: lost and insane.
That fateful day the police came to raid
The woman wept watching; alone and afraid.
Her house had crumbled and turned to grey
Like her hopes of redemption that had long fled away.
She knew they had discovered her terrible crime
Of robbing her friend of her earthly time.
Desperate with guilt she remembered the violence
And her friend’s scream, she just couldn't silence.
Like a horrible curse, the police uttered Sephora's name
And Christina knew she couldn't live with the shame.
The desperate woman sought to end her life
And finally, released from her horror and strife.
