Tabby

Tabby you were so cute,
And never seemed to mute,
I will remember your meow,
Your eyes were like an owl,
Always so sharp and deadly,
You never ran away cowardly,
You were as old as sixteen,
You were never mean,
And when it happened,
You left me sadden,
You were my best friend,
I hoped it would never end,
And when you went,
You waited for my blanket that was bent,
Now were apart,
You have left a hole in my heart.
