Stuck in this labyrinth with her by my side
Wondering the outcome if we’d just died
But no, here we are washed up with the tide
Depending on each other to go along with the ride.
We’re not the only ones stuck in here
Dozens of beasts are feeding off our fear
They relish the shedding of a single tear
So bravery is key when they leer.
Left or right, it’s too hard to choose
A welcoming exit is simply a ruse
To the overseers that we amuse
A horrible torment with no one to accuse
Except myself, I couldn’t refrain
To get her involved for my personal gain
Caught in this imaginative reign
Her and I trapped inside my brain.
