Make A Difference

There are people out there worse off than you
But by focusing on yourself there’s nothing you can do.
Just a few dollars is all it can take;
If everyone chips in, the difference it can make.
There are people out there in desperate need,
They never went to school or can’t write and read.
There are kids out there without an education
They’re treated unfairly and are dying of starvation.
22,000 children are dying each day
Something needs to happen, it can’t stay this way.
The world’s richest people can stop hunger alone
But no-one knows this ‘cause we need to make it known.
So please help others to live like us
With lots of opportunities and without any fuss.
Remember, there are people out there worse off than you But by focusing on yourself there’s nothing you can do.
