As the night falls
We all come to celebrate
How every 4 years
Countries join and pay off their training
As Australia walks in
This is it they finally achieved their dream
Happy, smiling, excited, nervous faces
Waving to fans, friends, family,
And their home
Representing their nation for what they love
The risk is not the worry,
Failing is nothing,
Having fun is everything
A thousand smiles
Takes you a thousand miles
