It was the blind man that saw me.
Most people understood not.
Those who needn’t ask made their plea.
Those without believed they could not.
The religious abused me,
The privileged prayed,
The leaders misused me,
And the hurt begged for aid.
Through time, I’ve become famed
But the theories are flawed.
By humans, I am named.
By me, they are awed.
Some named me destiny,
Others called me fate.
Of names, I've had many.
But for you, I will wait.
