The inner beast.
It dwells inside us all.
Conceived of secret fears,
Feasting off infernal anger.
It is suppressed beneath the surface,
In the darkness no man can see.
Yet grows, slowly but surely,
Breaking free of its chains.
Reckless and untamed,
It rages against our will.
Refusing to be subdued,
Relentless in its fight.
Do you combat against it,
Or surrender to its reign?
Letting it consume your soul
And devour your humanity.
