Ode To My Football Boots

You comfort my feet when running,
Help me kick goals and points,
Make me kick straight,
And you connect to all my joints.
Practicing is easy with you,
Training is better than ever,
You boot balls over the fence,
You make the opposition tense.
We are a legendary team,
Every day you gleam and gleam bright green.
You will make me stronger,
The opposition thinks games are longer.
I wear you every night,
You give my sister a fright.
You shine in the moonlight,
I am amazed how much work you have done,
This is definitely not a pun.
