Could a poem make a difference, could it change the world?
Could it affect people’s lives, with its rhyming words?
Could it change people’s thinking, could it make them react?
Could it change their behaviour, could it have an impact?
Would it even be read, or just sit on a shelf?
Would it even be known, than by the poet themselves?
Would its powerful message, and inspiring words,
Just lay on the page, and never be heard?
