Is man really mortal?
Is it only their bodies that fray?
When they die are they left with a chortle?
Are their dear souls left astray?
Do I hear no one can answer
The most deepest of questions
Do we need a sign, enhancer
So we can get out of this depression
So do our life's just stop,
Or in another form reborn?
But honesty will not appear in a crop
It pierces through your heart like a thorn
For all we can be taught
Man's questions can not be sought
