Roaring of the engines heard many miles away
Screeching of the brakes when the cars hit the corners
Fords colliding into Holdens
Holdens smashing into Fords
One of the greatest rivalries in Australia
Cars stalling
Drivers revving
Cars thundering past at exhilarating speed
The boisterous crowd yelling and screaming
Drivers perspiring in the 50 degree heat
Checkered flag a few metres away
Two cars Ford and Holden neck and neck pass the finish line a dead heat.
