Dear little blue bird up in the trees,
How I love the way you sing with the bees,
Like the nest you built in the old gumtree,
I made myself a home by the sea.
Dear little blue bird, feathers like silk,
Prefer to drink water instead of milk,
Find a mate and stick together,
You’ll be best friend forever and ever.
Dear little blue bird,
Chirping away,
A beautiful song to end the day,
I hope that you will always stay,
And make more beautiful friends.
