Who knew one bullet from a Siberian’s gun
Would be the trigger for World War I
This would set off a chain of events
As will create many shelter tents
Germany, Russia against Britain and France
This was one deadly dance
If one of them missed one beat,
Then they would suffer a tragic defeat
People joined from the Commonwealth
But that was when they were in good health
In the end, the British and French got some traction
Putting Germany out of action
On 11am on the 11th of November
The guns fell silent upon German surrender
In the battle of blood and sweat
100 years hence, lest we forget.
