Darkness
Eerie memories loom in corners
Shutters rattling in the wind
Sometimes, whispers haunt me
Sleep evades me
Answers remain unknown
Reaching blindly through the night
For someone to hold close
Only to find vapours
Drifting, like ghosts
Shadows look sinister
'Till the morning light
Sunrise will come
And all will be all right
