The tragedy is not that a flower has withered away,
The tragedy is that it will not blossom beautifully again.
The tragedy is not that a tree has been felled,
The tragedy is that another one will not be put in its place.
The tragedy is not that a bird has fallen from the sky,
The tragedy is that it will not be able to take to the air again.
The tragedy is not that a loving heart is broken,
The tragedy is that its love will never be restored.
The tragedy is not that a mother has a miscarriage,
The tragedy is that she will not be able to bear another child.
The tragedy is not that many beings perform immoral acts,
The tragedy is that many will continue to do so and never stop.
The tragedy is not that the world is at war,
The tragedy is that the war will never end.
The tragedy is not that things are broken,
The tragedy is that they are never mended again.
