Wings
As I soar up on these wings of night,
I think of wonders and humans plight,
The world could end but I wouldn’t care,
For all is peaceful up in the air.
The clouds so soft like pillows of fluff,
Sometimes I wonder will it be enough,
To quench this fire within me,
That won’t be doused by a cup of tea.
The thirst is to know of this world and others,
To ease the pain of all the mothers,
Who carry on these wings of night,
To end their suffering and their fight.
To ease the pain is quite a task ,
You may have to ask is it just a mask,
Of bravery and courage to,
I tell you now the end is up to you.
Why should I do to end this flight,
And I shall tell you, to have wings of light.
