Finalist in the 'Spread The Word 2017' competition
Like waves smashing against large rocks,
Chipping away at their complexion.
Preventing boats from sailing off,
And halting their progression.
Their thoughts tell them lies,
The mirror shows them pain.
For every truth is in their eyes,
And every fault is in their brain.
Like being alone but feel lonely.
Want to talk but don’t want to burden.
“Nothing is wrong. It’ll end, hopefully.”
Want to end the pain for it is hurting.
Everyday the same as the last,
Never wanting to show expression.
The wind blowing them away like dust,
Never-ending sorrow and depression.
