Over the trees and under lakes,
a beautiful eagle soars.
The trees seem to whisper with a voice so soft;
never heard when the ocean roars.
The dreams of the sleeping
though they soar so high,
the beauty and the terror-
the things that never die.
And as the grey-blue mountains
receive the glory and the fame;
there is a beauty greater-
a long-forgotten name.
Most people overlook her;
and say she should not be,
many have said this is not true-
the ocean speaks to me.
