As I sit here in silence
As I watch the violence
My heart is pounding
The pressures mounding
Drink after drink
Night after night
My daddy stands up
But my mummy falls down
With one last raise of the hand
Mummy goes to sleep in the ground
And daddy's not doing so well
Nothing ever changes
But I'm always watching
