Finalist in the 'Spread The Word 2017' competition
Your essence eludes words definition,
Languages quarrel in endless vain,
Because only a hearts true conviction
Can depict you, yet you are still my bane.
Your divine beauty complies with no laws,
Verities complete a pure visage,
Some may detest you with emphatic cause,
But there is no voice for sullied triage.
My only fault is my relentless love,
Such immortal traits fortify my plea,
I have reached the conclusion soon enough,
I forever venture a one way street.
Eternity may have to surrender,
Even then you remain my hearts splendour.
