A City, A Fountain

The city takes the fountain willingly,
Lying itself by the city square
In the middle of nowhere,
As the sweet sound of birds chattering fills the air.
The fountain spurts and bubbles,
Evoking people to come and sit
Chatter of unimportant matters fills the fountain air.
The fountain takes its new home warmly
Giving everyone its water and air,
Filling up the small town with chatter.
And when the day ends,
reflects itself off the crystal clear water lying below.
