Thunder is coming I better get out, “Crack”! A bolt of lightning hit the water,
I felt the shock of pain in my body, seven more times the bolt struck,
It flashed the slumbering gloom down in the abyss where it lit,
I saw the tide changer that held the strongest hit.
Lying below further than any human has gone, there eating sea worms sits the serpent itself,
buried away in its cove in an undisturbed sleep, a nightmare hidden in the deep,
I wonder how long it’s been there for, lying there on that cold sea floor.
All the ships passing above have awoken the beast,
I sensed the rumbling of the void like thunder from a nearby storm,
It’s going to have its mighty feast, It’s the monsters time,
Its green tentacles rise up from the depth of the slime, there in the chasm – my greatest fear!
Every ship, every man, anything, Its destroying everything in its path,
I see the angels because I feel nothing left, Everyone will fear the Kraken’s wrath!!
