While you sit there checking Instagram
You’re forgetting who I am
I am your best friend, here to support you
To let you know I think you’ve gone cuckoo
You spend too much time online these days
Only caring about what someone else says
Keep off of your phone, hand it over
From technology you’ll have to go stone cold sober
Please remember, I’m here to help
Before you let out that pathetic little yelp
If you bother to wonder why
I’m doing this to you because days go by
You’re sitting here staring, not a care in the world
The days go by, and it’s broken this girl
I can do little more than sigh
You just don’t realise that DAYS GO BY!
