The Korean war was a fierce war
It waged on for about 3 years
Dead bodies littered across the floor
The ground soaked red with blood and tears

The conditions were unpleasant
Trenches filled with the smell of gunpowder
There were no clean places present
Bang bang, gunshots grew louder and louder

The battlefield wasn’t any better
Seeing your dear friends perish
All was left was a letter
Of which you will always cherish
