She is my shield from danger.
My mother is a palette of colours,
Always brings colour to my day.
She is the wind, blowing clouds away,
To bring light in my day.
She is the medicine to a broken heart.
She is a rope that pulls you up when you fall.
A jar of kisses.
The special ray of happiness,
That will make you smile even when you are down.
She is the map,
That will show you the way when you are lost.
She is the warmth of fire,
And burns warmer on your coldest nights.
She is a wave of laughter.
She is a cuddle of love.
Always special to you in your heart.
