My mum thought I should enter a poem, because she knows I care,
She says, I have a lot to give and even more to share.
I can be a little naughty and my teachers think I'm loud,
Dad says I can be obnoxious, but my parents are still proud.
I don't always listen and I don't like hearing "NO",
But I do think rules are better than just going with the flow.
I love to write poems, my mum writes poetry too,
She says poetry is a doorway into thoughts that are true.
You see sometimes I get worried and sometimes I get mad,
Sometimes I am the happiest kid and sometimes I get sad.
I don't like being judged and sometimes I get shy,
But Poetry is good because there is no need to lie.
So here was my little poem, it is called "All about me",
I will end it with the truth that my real name is TIMOTHY!
