The brisk morning chill,
In my house on the hill,
Overlooking the beach,
Just out of my reach,
The earth starts rumbling,
The ground starts tumbling,
The buildings are falling,
An earthquake is calling,
People are waking,
Screaming and shaking,
Diving for cover,
Calling for mother,
Devastation around,
Lost children aren’t found,
Destroying my town,
It’s all plummeting down.
