People watch as a tear rolls down her cheek
Memories of happiness fill her head
She wished she wasn't so quiet and meek
'Maybe we are better part' he said
Now the days are despairing and woeful
Oh, how those thoughtless words changed everything
His words weren't interpreted as noble
The damage he caused was not self-healing
He nods hello, but no recognition
No, this can not go on any longer
He is going to heal her afflictions
She also wants an end to this anger
They cry out sorry, all is understood
Together happy, until adulthood
