As the days darken in my later days,
I wish I could go back to how I was,
As a child happy and true,
Always having fun things to do.
No grey hairs to pull,
No pills to take,
Being cool just being me,
Finding new things about the world each day.
So enjoy your childhood when you can,
Otherwise you’ll grow up too fast,
As many have done in the past.
