You always know what to say and what I need to hear,
You always tell me how it is, so simple and so clear.
As mothers and daughters always do, we argue and we fight,
But through the tears and drama,
I love you with all my might.
You look the same every day, a few wrinkles here and there,
But as you are my mother I really do not care.
You’ve always been so wise and you’ve always been so true,
You’ve always been so stubborn, but that’s what makes you
YOU!
Although you may not see it, because sometimes I don’t show,
Just how much I love you,
In case you didn’t know.
