Excellence Award in the 'Spread The Word 2017' competition

An agile pen moves across the page,
Scrawling letters of all shapes and sizes.
This writer is not concerned about neatness,
His only thought is placing each word on the page before they disappear into the unknown.
He fears that what he writes will be forgotten; consigned to oblivion,
By those who see but do not read.
But many will remember.
Those who can see and choose to read will remember.
Those who think and feel and breathe like as he does.
The readers will remember.
They are his audience and when he speaks,
They listen.
